I’ve been going to the gym most mornings before work lately. It was tough at first getting up, but it was a quick adjustment and I’ve begun to wake even before my alarm. Anyway, today was a cold, wet, gray day in New York, so when I glanced out my window this morning, I decided to sleep in. I got up at 8:30 and came to work. The strange thing is, I feel more tired today than I have for weeks. Those people that say "I have more energy throughout the day when i get some exercise in the morning" are actually right!

I’m sorry that I got fat I will slim down. If we had membership at the same gym that would be cool.
Hear hear! I’ve begun a daily ‘light workout’ routine whilst I job hunt. The energy bonus is noticable whereas instinct would imply the opposite effect. Stupid instinct.
When I still lived in NY, I used to run in the mornings in Ft. Greene park and I for sure had more energy. I also like that it made me have time for some oatmeal, coffee and NY1 before work rather than just falling onto the subway and dragging myself to work with just the coffee. I ended up dropping 15 pounds too from the exercise and better eating.
