Slice of me

This site is hosted on a linux VPS at slicehost. Not much comes on the slice, and set up is done entirely through SSH. I’ve gained some *nix familiararity lately from doing Rails developent on OSX, but other than that i have zero experience with the environment. Setting up a web server from a bare bones ubuntu slice would not accurately be described as my forte. Slicehost made it easy. I installed Ruby, Rails, mongrel, nginx, mysql, typo, tracks and subversion on my slice, and set up email hosting at google apps. Following the Slicehost tutorials, I had not a single hiccup in the whole process. Thats a rare thing when doing that much setup. The attention to detail in the walk throughs is very much appreciated, they get a strong recommendation from me.
